Pay Up!
Kate Moore shares her zine about student power during the Covid-19 pandemic for Issue Nº6 of Ensemble.
My zine, “Pay Up!” Is all about student power and the disaster that has been university during Covid. All students, especially those which require workshops, labs, and art studios have been disadvantaged. Art students have been told to create their work at home, an impossible and classist task. The “Pause or Pay” campaign advocates for compensation from universities or a pause in education, I created this zine based on the messages behind the campaign to raise awareness for students during this difficult time.
Kate Moore is a fourth year student at the University of Edinburgh studying Textiles.
